SILVERLIGHT SCARS

Here you will explore the different parts of my world that build the foundation of my upcoming manga, Silverlight Scars. This space showcases the creatures known as Animora, along with cults, tribes, gods, and many other elements that shape the story and its universe.

Animora

Animora are the living foundation of my world in Silverlight Scars. The term comes from a fusion of animal, fauna, and flora, and it represents every form of life within the story. Instead of dividing beings into animals, creatures, or monsters, everything is unified under one name. Animora can be familiar, hybrid, or entirely strange, but no matter their form, all living things in this world belong to the same category.

Blöbble

The Blöbble is a massive six by six foot Animora that looks like a harmless algae covered beach rock but is actually a hybrid of snail and blobfish that hunts in plain sight. It paralyzes its prey with a numbing slime, then consumes them slowly while they remain fully conscious and unable to escape.

Stormneedle

The Stormneedle is a colossal sky drifting Animora that resembles a cloud shaped jellyfish, stretching up to several kilometers wide as it glides through the upper atmosphere with long, flowing tendrils. It is neither fully peaceful nor hostile, instead generating and unleashing lightning based on temperature, drifting across the world in seasonal migrations that can bring both life sustaining energy and devastating storms.

Mosquitoth

The Mosquitoth is a tiny yet deeply unsettling Animora that inhabits dense summer forests, resembling a delicate moth-mosquito hybrid no larger than an inch. Tied to the Infiltration class, it drifts silently between the trees in search of warm blood, delivering a euphoric neurotoxin that fills victims with overwhelming joy, optimism, and vivid hallucinations. What begins as a pleasant sense of peace can slowly become a deadly addiction, drawing prey deeper into the forest with each bite. Male Mosquitoths maintain this blissful trance, while the much larger females descend upon those too intoxicated to resist, consuming them or carrying them back to their colonies. Feared by villagers as predators that weaponize happiness itself, Mosquitoths transform the promise of healing and escape into a slow descent toward madness, disappearance, and death.

Lantrelle

The Lantrelle is a 12 foot tall moss covered Animora resembling a giraffe, with a glowing lantern like head that appears deep within forests at night to guide lost travelers. It is a gentle yet judgment driven being that offers safe passage to those with pure intentions, while leading those with harmful intent deeper into the woods where the forest itself decides their fate.

SOLARA

The Cult of Solara is a manipulative sun worshipping cult founded by Aniko, built on the illusion of enlightenment while secretly targeting those driven by cruelty, jealousy, and blind faith. It lures followers in with promises of purpose and divine truth, only to ultimately condemn them, turning their devotion into a calculated form of punishment.

Aniko

Aniko is a survivor shaped by loss and betrayal, who watched his family destroyed and endured years of torment before burning his past to the ground. He becomes the founder of the Cult of Solara, using manipulation and calculated vengeance to punish those who mirror the cruelty that created him.

The Crying Sun

The crying sun symbolizes a false sense of warmth and justice, weeping and closing its eyes at night to reflect hidden guilt, truth, and suffering that cannot be ignored in darkness. By day, it opens its eyes and smiles, representing how cruelty and hypocrisy hide behind light, appearing righteous and pure while masking the pain they have caused.

Sun Mask

The sun mask Aniko wears represents the identity he chose to become, a symbol of control, deception, and twisted justice. It mirrors the smiling sun, hiding his pain and humanity behind a calm, radiant facade, allowing him to manipulate others while delivering the very judgment he believes the world deserves.
